Sanremo Coffee Machines has introduced an updated version of its popular Zoe espresso machine, refining the brand’s entry-level model with a series of modern upgrades while retaining its accessible price point.
Launched in February 2026, the revised Zoe is not a redesign but an evolution. The machine maintains its familiar silhouette and single boiler configuration, yet incorporates a range of visual, structural and internal enhancements aimed at improving performance, serviceability and day-to-day usability.
Subtle Exterior Refinements
At first glance, the updated Zoe remains true to its original aesthetic. However, closer inspection reveals a more robust build, including larger front and rear legs that give the machine a sturdier, more contemporary stance.
The compact version now comes equipped with integrated shot timers as standard, a feature previously unavailable on this model. The keypad interface has also been refreshed, with updated button styling and redesigned steam controls aligned with Sanremo’s current design language.
Internal Engineering Upgrades
While the exterior changes are subtle, much of the advancement lies beneath the surface.
Sanremo has re-engineered the Zoe’s internal architecture to enhance serviceability and long-term reliability. The external frame is now fully modular, simplifying maintenance and enabling greater customisation.
Updated electronics improve overall performance, particularly in areas such as temperature stability and operational consistency. A new high-performance pump has been introduced to deliver improved pressure stability and volume control during extraction.
In addition, Sanremo will offer a new stainless steel variant featuring a stainless steel boiler, designed to further enhance thermal stability and durability.
Expanded Optional Features
The 2026 Zoe also introduces a broader range of optional upgrades, allowing operators to tailor the machine to their specific needs. These include:
- Cool-touch steam wands to reduce the risk of burns
- A temperature-mixing hot water tap that blends cool water with boiling water to minimise spluttering
- An integrated cup warmer for improved cup temperature management
- Automatic steam wands capable of producing consistently textured milk, mirroring functionality seen on Sanremo’s higher-tier D8 model
Core features such as programmable shot times and pre-infusion remain, reinforcing the Zoe’s position as a capable entry-level machine for cafés and hospitality venues seeking quality without complexity.
