Under the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (PSSR 2000), annual testing of steam pressure vessels is mandatory. Our trained and fully certified coffee machine engineers examine your espresso boiler pressure, safety valves, and the boiler itself — keeping your business compliant while safeguarding your equipment.

What's included in a PSSR inspection?
Whether on-site or in our coffee machine repairs workshop, our certified engineers dismantle your machine to access the boiler, pressure safety valves and pipework.
- Borescope (pinhole-camera) examination of the boiler interior (if applicable)
- Test of pressure safety valves and pipework using a calibrated hand pump
- Replacement of any necessary parts
- Re-pressurisation and certification that everything functions like-new
- A written scheme of examination & record-keeping for future tests

All of our engineers are certified through a third party to conduct annual PSSR tests. These pressure tests are a legal requirement for the insurance and safe operation of a pressurised boiler machine — and the onus falls on the machine's owner to ensure they happen.
Rather than requiring a separate third-party visit, our qualified team self-certifies the result of the PSSR test — keeping you compliant with a single, efficient appointment.
