Cocoa - Rich and chocolaty with the fragrant sweetness of raspberries and dates.

Coffee scoring over 80 on Speciality Coffee Association scale is considered High Quality, Speciality Coffee.

All our coffees can be brewed using different methods, but this coffee is at its best when made with a filter method, like cafetiere, pour over, aeropress or drip.

This coffee was processed using the washed process. Post-harvest processing influences the taste profile. Washed coffees are brighter, naturally processed are sweeter, wet hulled processed are nuttier and honey processed are somewhere in between.

About this coffee

Grown on fertile soil at a heady 2,000m above sea level, this unique, distinctive coffee is packed with bright acidity and winey fruitiness.

Closer in taste to coffees from Congo than neighbouring Sumatra, this Elimbari coffee is the perfect combination of chocolate and fruit, and just perfect for drinking all day long.

The unique taste of an island paradise

Nestled in the Pacific Ocean off the north coast of Australia, Papua New Guinea is an island of contrasts, home to more than 700 languages. Volcanic and mountainous, its towering heights produce this complex Elimbari coffee, which pairs rich cocoa notes with fragrant raspberry and sweet date for a truly unique brew.

Fertile soil takes coffee varieties to new heights

Our Papua New Guinea coffee is made using Blue Mountain and Arusha varietals – quality crops enhanced by extremely fertile soils and high altitude growing conditions up to 2,000m above sea level. All these factors combine to create a truly unique and characteristic coffee, unlike anything you’ll have tasted before.
